The first “International Conference on Administration and Social Sciences ICAMMS’19”, organized by the Faculty of Administration, was opened in Sarajevo on September 13, 2019. The conference lasts for two days, Friday and Saturday (September 13 and 14), and the grand opening was held in the congress hall of the Swissotel Hotel in Sarajevo.
This international conference on administration and social sciences brought together a large number of experts and representatives of the academic community from the region and beyond, more precisely, 100 participants from 14 countries, including Great Britain, Croatia, Serbia, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, Poland, Austria, Macedonia , Montenegro, Russia, Slovenia, Germany, BiH and Palestine.
The introductory topic, and also the motto of this year’s conference, is “Issues and challenges of the European Union” in the context of public administration. The moderator of the panel is Adnan Rondić, and the participants are prof. dr. Vedad Silajdžić, professor at the Faculty of Economics, University of Sarajevo, prof. Dr. Abdullah Iqbal, professor at the British University of Kent, and prof. Dr. Ahmet Faruk Aysan, Professor at the Turkish Sehir University.
The opening ceremony of the conference was attended by numerous BiH officials from all levels of government, as well as important figures from public life, the political and academic community and those whose work is closely linked to the conference.
Let’s say that the partner of this year’s conference is the Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), a German development agency that provides services in the field of international development cooperation.
