EDITOR’S WORD

Abstract

Dear academic and professional community, dear readers, Journal ‘Administration’ that has been published by the Faculty of Administration, University of Sarajevo for nearly a decade, has gone through various developmental stages, and is ready for new improvements.

The new driving moment is the appointment of the new Faculty Dean with Vice-Deans, as well as the Editor in Chief of the Journal in 2019. Together with the Editorial Board, Reviewers and Journal’s Secretary, the Faculty Management set new goals regarding the Journal: higher visibility of the Journal, especially through the membership of the Journal in new indexed databases and improvement of the Journal distribution, higher orientation for the internationalization of the Journal through promotion of the papers in English, and eventually other foreign languages, as well as the increase and divesification of the authors, with emphasis to other countries.

We consider it appropriate in this moment to remind and express gratitude for the significant contribution to all authors, reviewers, members of the editorial boards, proofreaders and editorial board secretaries, administrative and technical staff, Printing Company Fojnica, National and University Library of Bosnia and Herzegovina, University of Sarajevo and other persons who provided support for the development of the Journal until this moment.
We would like to emphasize with particular significance the role of the man whose idea led to the foundation of the Faculty and first Acting Dean, Professor Munib Tahirović, PhD, as well as his successors, distinguished Deans, Professor Ćazim Sadiković, PhD, Professor Nusret Mujagić, PhD, Professor Ismet Sejfija, PhD and Professor Nezir Krčalo, PhD.

Also, we express gratitude to all Editors in Chief and their Editorial Boards: Professor Nezir Krčalo, PhD, Professor Lada Sadiković, PhD, Professor Selma Džihanović – Gratz, PhD and Professor Edin Ramić, PhD.

We invite authors, scholars, as well as the professionals, and young researchers to contribute further development of the Journal in the area of Administration and other related scientific fields, in compliance with technical guidelines, and ethical and scientific standards that are available on the Journal’s website.
