The second cycle of studies at the Faculty of Administration in Sarajevo is organized and performed by the Rules of survey for the second cycle of studies at the Faculty of Administration and the Rules of survey for the second cycle of studies at the University of Sarajevo.
The second cycle of studies is organized and conducted following the rules based on the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS).
The second cycle of studies is intended for students who have completed a four-year study of the first cycle of studies and achieved 240 ECTS credits, or for students who have completed their studies according to the pre-Bologna curricula.
Master of Administration is a person who is qualified to work on the most complex jobs in the civil service, public companies, and institutions, as well as other institutions, on jobs and tasks that require teamwork, making the most critical decisions work on administrative decisions, as well as management affairs at all levels of government.
Through the second cycle of studies, the Faculty of Administration is determined to be the academic bearer and factor of contribution to the progress of BiH in meeting European requirements and priorities:
- To enable students’ vertical connection in developing knowledge and skills in the second cycle of studies.
- Create a unique postgraduate study that uses modern teaching methods and encourages individual and group work at the scientific and practical levels.
- Achieve a recognizable postgraduate study that is not focused on traditional teaching methods but encourages individual and teamwork
- In the field of academic exchange, the goal of the Faculty of Administration is to create conditions for increased student mobility through interdisciplinary study, discussion of teaching and scientific staff, and study-scientific-research projects and forms of cooperation by organizing classes in the second cycle of studies.
- Strengthen, expand and further develop existing professional, scientific and general academic exchange with stakeholders in the country and abroad.
Through respect for the standards of modern higher education, this study program should provide such a level of professional knowledge, methodological skills, and professional competencies of masters of administration that will ensure quality and professional involvement in the work of economic entities and other organizations. authorities, other public services, as well as the management sectors of other organizations and associations, in the professional performance of their vocation.
By organizing the second cycle of studies in the field of ADMINISTRATION, in four directions, the Faculty decides in the long run to:
- organization, performance, development and contribution to higher education and scientific research in the field of public administration, banking system, business and management of small and medium enterprises in the domestic economy,
- highly professional and research training of young professionals, students, researchers through education and practice, and other activities (specialist and other seminars, workshops, forums, scientific and public debates, meetings, congresses, gatherings, etc.)
- education, practical, work, conducting research, development of strategies, plans and programs with the aim of introducing the practice of EU institutions in the field of public administration, banking, business operations in BiH,
- conducting analyzes and research on public administration, the banking sector, the level of stability of market competition and the creation of a single economic space, as well as the publication and edition of implemented activities,
- academic and professional participation in the forthcoming application of the acquis communautaire and the adoption of legislation in line with future European legal and business developments, as well as monitoring the effectiveness of their practical application in BiH,
- cooperation with domestic and foreign universities, faculties, institutes and other organizations, from their own and related fields of activity,
- implementation and work on all domestic and international projects that ensure, contribute to and promote the creation of a quality, professional, professional, transparent public and private sector,
- strengthening the rule of law, the rule of law, free and market competition in the modern conditions of capitalism and democracy, and
- all other actions and activities that contribute to the development and improvement of the quality of higher education in BiH.
